Our faith

We believe and trust in God, who loves us all.

We believe and trust in Jesus, who showed us what love means.

We believe and trust in the Holy Spirit, who helps us to love in return.

The Monday House Group is an ecumenical group which normally meets on the second and fourth Monday evening of each month to explore issues of faith. We usually do this with the help of written and/or DVD-based study courses. Before Lent we completed "Living the Questions: Invitation to Journey" - a 21-session course which challenged us to face the questions Christians are often "afraid to voice for fear of being thought a heretic", and to see faith as a journey rather than a set of cut-and-dried answers to such questions. We shall be meeting on April 29th to choose a course to follow for the next few months.

Prayer for the Week

Take this moment, sign, and space;
take my friends around;
here among us make the place
where your love is found.

Take my talents, take my skills,
take what's yet to be;
let my life be yours, and yet,
let it still be me.
