About Us

Worship

The main Sunday worship service is weekly at 10.30am, usually lasting about an hour and followed by tea, coffee, biscuits and conversation in the hall. Our Junior Church members start out in the main service and then break out into their own activities led by our Junior Church team.

Our minister is a regular preacher and, when not with us, we welcome other preachers or through our Worship Group organise the service ourselves.

Our main hymn book is Singing the Faith. Words are projected onto a screen for all to see, but we have print copies for anyone requiring one as well as a loop system for those with hearing aids.  There is level access to the church and hall.

Once a month we celebrate Holy Communion and all are welcome to receive; there are no prerequisites and the bread we serve is gluten free and the wine non-alcoholic.

We also have regular All Age Worship and Café Church style services.

On the second Sunday of each month starting at 7pm we also have a short 30 minute service of Silence, Stillness and Simplicity.

Church Charities

Every two years we select two charities to fund raise for, one local and the other with a wider reach. Currently our two fundraising charities are…

All We Can has learned that lifting people out of poverty blunts their potential to lift themselves out. So it partners with them as they end their own poverty.

Bridewell is a mental health recovery service. It provides social and therapeutic horticulture in a working garden to adults living in Oxfordshire.

We also have a collection point in the church where items can be left for the North Oxfordshire Community Foodbank.

Providing food parcels to people within the Kidlington, Woodstock, Chipping Norton and Charlbury areas.
